Integra Telecom’s Wavelength Services Offers High-Bandwidth Transport and Point-to-Point Connectivity

Integra Telecom (News – Alert) Inc., has unveiled Wavelength Services, which offers high-bandwidth transport and point-to-point connectivity for business continuity, disaster recovery and long-distance data center networking.

To provide wholesale, enterprise and carrier-class high bandwidth products and services, this expansion is part of Integra’s $52 million year-long plan to leverage its fiber network. Integra already operates the most extensive fiber network of any competitive services provider for business in the West. Integra’s fiber network consists of 5,000 long haul route miles and 3,000 metropolitan route miles, in addition to more than 1,600 lit fiber-fed buildings.

Integra Telecom owns and operates its own network offering local dial tone, domestic and international long distance, high-speed Internet and data services (including digital subscriber line or DSL), voice messaging, and numerous ancillary services designed to support the communication needs of businesses including business phone systems. Hibernia Atlantic to Provide Transatlantic Connectivity for TIWS

TIWS has a strong presence in European and American markets. The increase in demand for transatlantic capacity has driven TIWS to collaborate with Hibernia to serve its multinational customers better.

Hibernia’s transatlantic submarine cable network ensures high levels of security and diversity. It is capable of securely connecting more than 120 points of presence throughout Europe and North America.

Its 24,000-kilometer submarine and terrestrial fiber optic network enables it to provide high-end technical support and flexible network services to customers.
