Omron Network Products, LLC, an Americas subsidiary of Omron Corporation and the manufacturer of high-performance optical modules for VoF (Video over Fiber) and high speed data transmission, is planning to demonstrate a new bidirectional optical module to select customer and partners. The new product is called the Data Module or P1xX6B-SX51x-02A. The device is capable of transmitting 14Gb/s downstream and 155Mb upstream, all over a single multimode fiber and can be used to transmit signals from a distance of 300m to 1km.

According to a press release, the new Data Module is designed for easy use and can be rapidly implemented into various fiber extension products. The Data Module includes a pre-programmed laser driver, an integrated SC clip and a durable metal housing with EMI shielding.

Martin Smith, ONP’s director of marketing, said, “Many of our customers told us they wanted a bidirectional module that would allow them more flexibility in designs, and we listened. The new Data Module is protocol-agnostic and can be configured to suit a variety of applications, giving our customers the ability to differentiate their product. mobile casino .” Brian Peters, COO of ONP went on to say, “Because of its flexible interface, the new Data Module is ideal for a broad range of markets including industrial automation, security cameras, medical imaging, and of course high-definition video.”

ONP has several new products launching in the next 12 months, aimed at increasing bandwidth and lowering power consumption throughout the industry. Customers who wish to see the demonstration of ONP’s new product lineup should contact their ONP sales representative immediately to schedule an appointment.

Specialized ONP products allow the transmission of various HD video signals and other large-bandwidth data on a single fiber. Their broad range of product offerings can be utilized in the communications, transportation, medical, HVAC, appliance, industrial automation, consumer electronics, and test and measurement markets around the world.
