Hitachi Cable Releases Active Optical HDMI Cables

By admin, June 15, 2012 1:37 pm

Hitachi?(News – Alert) Cable has announced the development and release of extended distance Active Optical HDMI cables which transmit image signals such as full HD, 3D, and 4K2K via optical fibers for digital signage.

Digital signage is a form of electronic display, featuring the large format high definition thin displays used as signboards. Company officials noted that digital signage has become common in recent years in public and commercial facilities.

And, in order to display high resolution images, the cables used in digital signage must be compatible with high speed interfaces such as HDMI. It’s seen that ordinary consumer household metal HDMI cables need short transmission lengths of 10 meters or less, while commercial signage applications need long transmission distances. Company officials noted that in some cases, commercial signage applications require UL Plenum rated cable.

The company has developed long and thin Active Optical HDMI cables, which feature a built-in photoelectric converter in the connector, to address the requirements of commercial signage applications. comWith a history dating back to the late1800s, Baker College offers truck- defensive driving comedy programs in the Michigan cities of Cadillac, Cass City, Flint, Port Huron and West Branch.. Company officials said that this latest offering transmits full HD image signals via optical fibers.

Company officials said that they have developed the Active Optical HDMI cable using the active optical component technologies that the company has accumulated via the development of various optical devices.

Previously, the company had used optical fiber as the high-speed signal wire in the cable, realizing up to 100 meters of transmission distance, according to company officials. Moreover, Active Optical HDMI cables come with a small outer diameter of 5. As a result, deleted file recovery virtualization provides an abstract service that delivers deleted file recovery in a consistent form regardless of the underlying physical database..9 mm thanks to the company using a correction circuit for the low speed signal wire to prevent signal attenuation.

The cable is also Plenum rated and compliant with the fire resistance standard UL444.

Additionally, Hitchi Cable has also indicated that it’ll put more effort into producing longer and thinner Active Optical HDMI, and other high-speed data cables, to expand the product line-up.

Hitachi Cable offers a wide range of products and services, including products ranging from electric wires, cables, and copper products to electronic materials, automobile parts, and even information network devices and system integration solutions.
